In the single-player campaign, players embark on a journey to liberate small towns across America from the oppressive Korean forces. The developers at Kaos Studios have put great effort into creating an emotionally charged experience, aiming to make players truly invested in the fight against the invaders. However, the graphics in the campaign fall short of today's standards, with poorly animated in-game companions that make it difficult to form a strong connection with them. Additionally, the campaign is heavily scripted, limiting player freedom.

On the other hand, Homefront's multiplayer modes deliver an exhilarating and enjoyable experience. The maps are well-designed, offering diverse environments for intense battles. Players have access to a wide range of weaponry and classes, including vehicles and deployable drones, adding strategic depth to the gameplay. The inclusion of RPG-like progression, where experience unlocks new abilities, adds an extra layer of excitement. However, some weapons may require better balancing, as certain ones, like the assault rifle, can feel overpowered with its exceptional zoom and ease of scoring instant-kill headshots. Conversely, heavy machine guns may seem less effective in comparison.

If you are a fan of multiplayer first-person shooters, Homefront comes highly recommended for its enjoyable gameplay. However, the single-player campaign falls short of expectations. Despite its flaws, the game's multiplayer modes offer a completely different and satisfying experience.
